I created merchandise concepts for the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, designed to extend the team’s brand beyond the court and into everyday culture. The collection featured a mix of lifestyle products — including basketballs, belt bags, hats, sweatshirts, hoodies, and t-shirts — all centered on bold expression and community pride.

Creative Direction

  • Applied the Atlanta Dream logo in a high-energy palette of hot pink and safety yellow, signaling both empowerment and visibility.

  • Designed pieces emblazoned with words like Equality, Human Spirit, Sisterhood, and Community, aligning the collection with the Dream’s role as cultural leaders in Atlanta and advocates for women’s empowerment.

  • Balanced performance-inspired silhouettes with streetwear sensibility, creating pieces that fans could wear both in-arena and in daily life.

Impact

The merchandise line underscored the Atlanta Dream’s identity as more than a basketball team — a movement rooted in equity, unity, and representation. By turning apparel and accessories into statements of solidarity, the collection invited fans to carry the spirit of the Dream wherever they go.
